This blog is intended for people thinking of upgrading their home heating system. First, we outline our hellish experience with Weil-Mclain’s CGI boiler, whose exhaust sounded like a jet engine. The company and its representatives were so unprofessional and unhelpful in dealing with the problem, we had to buy an entirely new boiler from another supplier to deal with the noise.
We also hope readers will contribute their own experiences and offer advice to renovators like us, so others can avoid our nightmare.

Weil Mclain Boiler Hell 
Thanks for your blog. Your post and many others (on other sites, too) prevented me from purchasing a Weil-McLain CGI boiler, which was recommended by my installer. I’m going with a Triangle Tube boiler.
